2. User Accounts & Responsibilities

• Backpackers: Must provide authentic, true information regarding current locations, work histories, and visa eligibilities. Logging fake visa days or submitting false resumes is strictly prohibited.
• Employers: Must register using a valid Australian Business Number (ABN). All job postings are manually moderated. Posting spam, fake advertisements, or requests containing discriminatory conditions is strictly prohibited and accounts will be terminated.

3. Community Guidelines & Reviews

Travellers can write reviews for hostels and employers they have applied to or worked with. Reviews must be truthful, constructive, and respectful. Rating manipulation, duplicate review spamming, or defamatory remarks will be deleted by moderators.

4. Limitation of Liability

Backpack Connect acts as a connecting directory between travellers, local farms, and regional working hostels. We do not represent, employ, or contract either party and are not liable for dispute incidents, transport conditions, or workplace safety issues arising from matches made through the platform.
